Copywriting Case Study: Brightberry

 

Situation  

Brightberry is an Australian company that sells innovative, functional and practical tableware for children. Its founder, Mateya, appreciates that mealtimes with small children are messy because she’s been there herself. Her personal experiences inspired her to help simplify the parenthood process by creating products that are ergonomically designed for children’s mealtimes.

Challenge  

Brightberry designed the product named theOne™ Bowl Set that is innovatively designed with the purpose of helping parents avoid mealtime mess while promoting independence, encouraging learning and ensuring safety among young children. They believe this ergonomically designed product will help a lot of parents and recognise the need to establish credibility to gain traction in the market. They knew the product had the potential to win the Good Design Australia Award 2021 because of its cutting-edge features. However, creating awareness and submitting an award submission that stands out is not easy.

 

Action

Melotti Media set up a meeting with the founder of Brightberry, Mateya Lotric, who designed theOne™ Bowl Set. She explained the nature of the product to us, its design purpose, how it is different from the available tableware on the market, and the difference it can make. From there, we created an award submission document highlighting the merits of their silicon suction bowl and spoons. Through the power of words, we communicated the value of their product and how it can impact the lives of both parents and children.

 

Outcome

They won!!! Melotti Media developed a sharp award submission document for the Good Design Australia Award 2021 – and Brightberry was announced as the winner.

 

An exceptional product paired with the right words that effectively communicate its value will gain phenomenal results. We were thrilled to be part of their achievement.
